We Grow as a Flower

Me and you,

We grow hand in hand.

I too,

Don’t want to live in the sand.

We may start to wither,

Away from the sun.

The skies grow darker,

The harsh had begun.

Just as we are about to die,

the rain comes to save us.

Although we grow high,

We must be very cautious.

As we grow stronger,

Our roots start to intertwine.

You and I get closer,

Together we refine.

Although weather is harsh,

We must learn to stay alive.

You and I will flourish,

And we will survive.
