We Have A God
We Have A God who calls us sons and daughters of the King of kings.
We Have A God who parted the Red Sea. (Exodus 15:15-31)
We Have A God who helps the crippled walk, the blind see, and the deaf hear. (Mark 2:1-12; John 9:1-4; Mark 7:31-37)
We Have A God who can and will heal diseases, who walks on water, whose mercies are new every morning. (Luke 8:43-48; Matthew 14:22-23; Lamentations 3:22-23)
We Have A God who says we are forgiven, enough, loved, accepted, approved, adopted, chosen, priceless, blameless, and worthy in his sight.
We Have A God who says we are redeemed by his grace.
We Have A God who can and will rewrite our history! We Have A God who changes everything!
We Have A God who can and will turn our mourning into dancing; can and will turn our tribulation into our testimony; can and will turn our mess into a message; can and will turn seas into highways.
This God who can and will turn trials into triumph, who says we are new again in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We Have A God who will fight our battles! (Exodus 14:14); who will never fail us; who can we always trust and depend on.
We Have A God who turns our pain into his purpose; who protects us day in and day out; who is painting beauty with the ashes; who is always with us during the thick and the thin.
We Have A God who says our sins are washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ!
We Have A God who can and will perform unexplainable miracles - that has us saying - wow God!
This God, the Prince of Peace, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Creator of the whole world, the Humble Son of God, the Almighty One, the name that is above every other name.
This is the God who loves the lawless, gives lifeless, and is merciful to those deserving no mercy.
This is the God who can will turn our sorrows into everlasting joy!! (John 16:20-24)
This is the God who is the Way, The Truth, and The Light. (John 14:6)
We Have A God who says we are all equal in his eyes, who says we are all members in the body of Christ. (Romans 12:4-5)
We Have A God who is turning chaos into art; who is unchanging!
We have a God who is the same forevermore! (Hebrews 13:8)
This is the God who is the founder and perfector of our faith. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
This is the God we all come together to worship His holy name!
This is the very same Savior who sacrificed his life and body on the cross. This is the same Savior who was beaten, flogged, mocked, and cursed at.
This is the One....our very same Savior who bore our sins, so that we could be set free of the bandage of sin that held us!
This is the God who says we are forever free of condemnation! (Romans 8:1-11)
This God, whom we know, is still breathing life into dead things. This is the kind of Savior who is still bringing light to dark places, hope to hopeless situations, and possibility to impossible circumstances.
This is the same Savior who is continually at work in our hearts and lives, repairing and mending all that is broken and setting us free from our past.
We Have A God who, himself, did the most costly thing anyone could have done, and that was taking his own life and dying for us!! Yet we are at times afraid to even risk or lay down our lives for our Savior!
We Have A God who says we are no longer slaves to sin! This is the God who calls us His children!!
Soli Deo Gloria!!
