We Have a Voice Too

We were created.
By one man alone.
To live, breathe, act, and speak like Him.
Yet our voices are quiet.
Our actions are mistaken.
We are afraid.
Afraid of other peoples’ thoughts.
Fearful of what they might do.
But other people are praised for their voices and actions.
They are not questioned nor mistreated for what they believe.
Instead we are persecuted, beaten, and sometimes killed for what matters most to the one who created us.
Yet our voices and actions still go unnoticed.
We ask ourselves, “How can this be? Why is this happening to me?”
All because we believe in one man.
This man is called Jesus, Emmanuel, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Prince of Peace.
He has healed the sick, made the lame walk, and made the blind see.
Why does Jesus do this you may ask?
For His sole purpose.
To save the world from the destruction we created.
To give us life.
