We Lay Waste our Fears

We lay waste our fears

tucked into bed and put to rest

but oh no!

Do not forget to check underneath for any mean monsters

that might bite or cause a fright

you thought you were safe

with your little night light

but what a joke you are

you don't even put up a fight

I am I said I am

stonger now with age

no longer hidden behind the stone walls like a prision

but free like the truth
