We Live In A World

We live in a world full of people of different colors We live in a world full of people who judge others based on their color We live in a world where war seems to be the only answer We discover new ways to kill people, yet we cannot find the cure to cancer We live in a world where they tell us to go to college and be the best we can be We live in a world where they happily talk about going to college as if it is free We live in a world where freedom ain't free We live in a world where heaven on Earth is what we need; but we feel like we're in hell every time we breathe We live in a world where we pledge allegiance to a flag As if we forgot all about it's bloody past We live in a world where the baby in the womb consumes all the drugs and alcohol needed to sooth the mother's doom We live in a world where it's not uncommon to say "that child died too soon" We talk about change as if it will happen soon We make up lies in order to not face the truth We have the responsibility to make this world a better place to live in yet we have people wanting to be dead instead of livin' We must take a stand for what is right Instead of taking a knee in awe of evil's might we must come together and put up a fight against the unjust dark light that has been shown to the world We must establish peace, happiness, and love Or our existence will have gone to waste, and evil and hatred have won
