We Live in a World....

We live in a world full of love

We live in a world full of hate

Too many people worried about the man above

Too many people only care about their fate

We live in a world full of life

We live in a world full of loss

The truth we hang onto it lost

We live in a world full of smiles

We live in a world full of stares

All one can think about is does anyone care?

We walk our own road in the dark of the night

We are left alone  with the will to fight

We live in a world full of peace

We live in a world full of war

The tears we shed

And the blood they spread

Lost with our demons, we can fight

Just to live another night

I really got into poetry in my freshman year of high school when I was going through a tough time. Since then I still do poetry from time to time and feel its a good outlet. I love doing poetry because not only can I get my emotions across on paper, but I can look back at something I created and am proud of. Most of my stuff does also turn out to be a little on the dark side, but nothing too bad. I feel we all have some sort of dark side to us and just hope that others can relate.
