We Maintain Not Cure

There are astronomers who study the planets

So why don't we see the view from above?

There are geologists who study what she's made of

So why don't we see how old she's getting?

There are botanists who study how she grows

So why don't we see how she's failing to thrive?

There are meteorologists who study the atmosphere

So why don't we see how she's burning?
