We Matter

I wrote this epistle

To the side of the world

Where blacks are ridiculed

Simply because their complexions are odd

Humans are humans

Mortals, mortals

We need each other to stand

Racism doesnt matter

Life is a gift

Given to man

It is meant to be cherished

Not taken from each other

This is an epistle

Written to the ends of the world

I hope you turn from acts of ridicule

To performances of love
