We must.

Sealed lips will freeze, Stagnant feet will sink in pools of mud, And tired hands will grow limp. If our lips freeze We cannot yell, If our feet sink We cannot march, If our hands lie limp We cannot hold a fist up high. So we must rip open the seals, Compel the stagnancy, And reenergize the tired. So we must melt the frozen Chains of fear, Yank out from mud the tentative, And mend the hopeless with new promise. So we must yell And release from the heart the injustice— a scream can cause physical pain. And we must march Towards our future, Towards the light— The light of change and equality. And we must hold our fists high In protest, in action, in fight, In signaling a revolution of the soul. We must do this, For sealed lips will freeze, Stagnant feet will sink, And tired hands will grow limp. And then we will die.
