(Sigh)
I guess Its that time of year again
When we're back in a classroom
but it feels like a den
I want to see teachers and students making connections
Teachers helping to oversee our imperfections
More seats filled at the graduation section
Each and every student learning to their fullest potential
Learning ideas that are seriously essential
So we can survive and thrive in life
Students being called on equally
so there' s a greater chance of all that we
learn to new heights,
set new foundations
because we are the federation
of the future
No wonder kids hate school so much
when everyday they're made out as a fool so much.
I don't want to see hate in the eyes of the students
Just improvements in these academic movements
I never want to hear the words "I don't care" from a teacher
Because jeopardizing our future is something we couldn't bear.
Pencil and paper, pencil and paper, pencil and paper
Teachers sit back and act like the interrogator
Scolding the ones who don't know.
It gets so tiring
As if etching things in our mind will make success in life
We need a shift from that to hands on  
We need a shift to embalm
what education really is about
We need teachers to make time for us
Because when graduation arrives, it'll be our time to shine
It'll be our time to say this was the teacher that impacted my life  
This is the teacher that helped us through our day-to-day strife
and made learning a whole new level
We need, we need, we need.
