We Need People
People, people, people, we need people
We need others to push us to improve
Without them our good character is removed
Some may be blinded that wealth and material commodity mirror the happy
But that is insanity
Lack of another would give way to growing loneliness
A loneliness that would consume our thoughts solely
A loneliness that gnaws away at our identity until we are stabbed with our own knife
Without someone to share our successes and failures with, what is the point of life?
One person is all I need to allow me to succeed
Clothes, shoes, and books shelter me
But people trump all three
If on an island on my own, my soul would be captivated by the waves pounding
But my one person will be my savior and keep me from drowning
