We Shall Live On

We are like the leaves,

Born, bloom, fade, and die.

We are like the wind,

Coming, going, gone.

We are like the rivers,

Carving, flowing, drying.

We are small, our lives are short and finite.

Just one small speck in the eternal masterpiece...

Yet.

Yet...

Yet leaves are proof of other new birth.

Yet the wind bring new things to new places.

Yet rivers carve new patterns and bring new life.

Small and finite, yet the pootprints, the handprints never fade.

Our lives are short but we shall live on.
