We started off as strangers

We started off as strangers From simple Hi's of shyness To the comfortable feeling of just saying anything to catch your attention ...when we spoke on the phone for the first time The warm and deep pitch of your voice Calmed all of my anxiety as I Felt relief I knew that from that moment on You would be my good friend An even through the distance Between us was grand Our communication was never lacking If I could be honest with you Tell you something that I keep inside me Then I would tell you That I look forward to the days we speak And that I feel like I can rely on you For everything I need from you Just like a good friend You are The reason I smile sometimes When I need someone too talk to I always call on you Because you make me feel better Just like a good friend Your heart and your hands are warm to me Eyes gental and smile so sweet Your minds intelligent and souls amazing This I know because I feel it The right chemistry between you and me. Because we are good friends I can look at you and feel nothing but joy Because we are good friends I keep you close to my heart Seems like your always on my mind And I feel we're building the connections for our souls You make me shy But make me happy Seems like being with you is like a breath of fresh air Because your a good friend for me I see potential in you To be what you wanna be and do what you need to do I want to be that encouragment you need right along side god The person who tries there best to keep you up When the world wants you down I want to return all the favour you do for me I want to give you what you want And help you the same way you help me
