We The Students

We do understand that you have mouths to feed,
as well as expectations to meet,
but we as well have things on our minds,
you just ignore them as if you are blind.
You yell at us when we put our heads down,
but you really don't realize what's happening around us in this small town.
Our parent's didn't send us here to be raised,
it is not the reason why you are being payed.
You treat us as if we are five,

then expect us to act like were twenty-nine.
We are just teenagers,
trying to finish up your procedures,
working hard to get to college,
but that would be really hard since we're gaining no knowledge.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way,
we are just trying to make it until May.
