We walk onto our stage

We walk onto our stage alone Soloists, not sure what to do Some of us are found quite quickly By loving mothers and grand fathers Eager to take us home Others are left to wander the stage In a flurry of blind confusion A darkness sweeps over their lives And they grow in a steep rage Soon, all of our come and meet In one grand opera My transgressions affect your decisions As countless other plays skitter beneath our feet We step on others And others step on us People are hurt Hearts are broken No one stays the same Every play tells a story The life of a new person Each play mingles with another Creating a new and epic drama There is no author This is no director YOU are who creates the play Your actions, your reactions Shape a play that will shape the world
