"We Want Change!"

We hear all people say,

“I want to save a life someday”.

Well I say, “Really?

Why not today?”

People are dying all over the world

12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days a year.

Selling it as your Bucket List,

I can’t help but insist

That you really should try it daily.

Hey, maybe it’ll make you an optimist.

The world is full of people who

Refuse to hand over their luxury

To change someone else’s life.

Why won’t we change?

It’s not hard when people join in.

We say it takes a man

To start a revolution

But it takes an army

To end one.

I say it’s time to sink or swim.

So where do you keep the sign up list

To begin?

We scream and shout that

“We want change!”

I roll my eyes at the same ol’ thing

Actions speak louder than words,

Or so I’m told.

Why won’t we change?

It’s not hard when we simply join in.

We say it takes a man

To start a revolution

But it takes an army

To end one.
