we were

we are dissatisfied
and yet content

we seek truth
when others cringe

we thirst for knowledge
and savor every taste

we welcome the darkness
and call it friend

we dance in the light
and forget all

we are lovers
we are feelers
we are thinkers
we are ponderers
we are wanderers
we are universe questioners
we are relentless
we are restless
we are fearless
we are beautiful
we are timeless
we are infinite
we are endless
we are
we were

we are lost
we are empty
we are searching
for meaning
for purpose
for the point
in all of this
crazy

we are crazy
we were
