We Will Fight Today !

We will fight today for the rights that were taken away from us the tree we hung from for saying what was right to the blood shed on our backs for saying the truth We will fight today for the people that got murdered for our kids that didn't receive the right education for walking barefoot in the hot sand to show others they cared We will fight today for our ancestors to be proud to know we can walk in the same restaurant and not be looked upon to stand at a poll and vote for our next leader yes we will fight today for civil rights to be recognized

Poetry is my second hobby. I love getting my words onto paper and expressing them more into poetry.
