We Will Love You Forever
From the unforgettable words
To the unspoken lies
They pierced through my heart.
Like your gallant green eyes.
I believed you at first,
but you proved me wrong.
I cannot trust you
yet I played along.
I set myself up
from the very beginning
I knew I would get hurt
But you continued your sinning.
I wish God was with you
To tell you right from wrong
but you pushed him away
Because you thought you were strong.
He proved you wrong
when you fell apart
so you asked for his forgiveness
and he mended your heart.
So let's try again.
Now that your saved.
I'll love you forever.
And God will do the same.
