We Will Not Say Goodbye

I will not utter the word goodbye

And you will not say goodbye

I will not say goodbye to you

And you will not yell goodbye to me

We will kiss, because we’re not through

And this will be the genesis of a new story.

This will be the cool dawn of a new alliance

In a short future, you and I will rock and dance

All day and night long, until the roosters

Will begin to sing. I ordered a bouquet of flowers

For you. We’ll be recuperating lost days of love

And also partying with the geese hovering above.

Hoping that you won’t laugh profusely. That won’t be a joke

And you won’t forget to blow or send me a big kiss

In life, there are things one doesn’t miss

We’ll meet again for fritaille, lambis and a bowl of poke

That night, we’ll celebrate for many hours long

And drink wine, kiss, dance, laugh and sing a song.
