We Will Rise

We will rise like the waves that crash into the most rocky of the rocks

We will empower

Over flood

Overpower the stone boulders that stood boldy

The stone boulders that had deprived us of our freedom

Surpass the rocky cliffs that had been to high to bother reaching down to save us

From drowning down below in the icy cold grasps of reality

We will rise

Thus will we break the iron shields

The blinds that had blocked out all our potential shine

The gates that had ignored our cries

We will triumph

We will rise

We will rise like the snouts of the wolves that howl in rejoice of their freedom

We will rise like the pitch that reaches even the highest moon

We will rise like the withered trees that still reach their branches out to the sky in their last breath

Rise like the last leaf on that tree that soars through the wind

Losing itself in the wind

Losing itself in its freedom

Trust me we will rise

Rise like the hair on their necks

When they see our return

When they see our faces amongst the quiet of the night

Rise like the pressure in their blood

Hell yeah we will rise

Rise unlike the temperature in their bodies when they see

Once they see

The end of the storm

God dammit we will rise
