We Will Succeed

I heard an outcry

Somewhere nearby

I see a tough guy

His buddy wise guy

And a boy with a black eye

Tough guy tries to imply

He’s not the bad guy

He tries to justify

He says nice of you to pass by

But goodbye

If you know me, I don’t comply

A kick to the groin I did apply

A slap in the face I amplify

My dirty look I magnify

And I did terrify

Fight back they didn’t try

I ask the boy of the situation

I expected an explanation

He said thanks for the demonstration

But over was our conversation

Without any hesitation

I demanded confrontation

He said it’s weird for me to take fascination

But he’s given up on this generation

I told him that’s just an estimation

Me and those boys there’s no correlation

And from my observation

He needed a companion

But I am nothing

He said while blushing

The boy was in shock

He could barely talk

A minute by on the clock

I told him come with me for a walk

I showed him a cornstalk

This plant has grown taller than a weed

All from one tiny seed

So let’s proceed

And though we may bleed

We will succeed
