We Women

We as women have always been put to the task to fight for our rights Because the Government will never get it right When campaigns run for office, they all say they can "embody us" But they don't understand what our body does The freedom, availability and opportunity to finally have our choice Is like finally being heard and recognized for our voice The respect recognition, equality the we need to be seen But won't ever be recognized by the male breed... Unless we stand and fight for a change Because we will not be chained Society can not and will shall not view women the same! The women of the past fought for as long as they could last They fought hard And weren't afraid to be locked behind bars Now will we let these delegates Run us over like elephants!? No we will not!! We will fight with all our might Without the availability of contraception How do we stop the risk of unwanted conception If either by consent, rape, or incest Oh, heck no this makes us have to protest Until we women are treated equal as any man Women will always be up for a fight Until we are treated right Now with this said Get out of bed on Voting Day And make the choice Where your voice will be heard
