Weaker than Before

Lungs weak like a flower

Once stepped on there is no reviving

Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out

A human ability gifted to us at birth slowly disappearing

Why give us life if it is taken away too quickly?

Fake smiles appearing when with family

Frowns appearing when alone

A mask to hide your scared eyes

A mask to hide me teary eyes

Do I have the capability to save you from this cruel world?

Vulnerability getting more intense everyday

Let me help you

Even if ends with me being the one who is gone

I need you

Fight a little longer

As the days pass by we both get more scared

We cannot face the reality that is running towards us

Please help me stop this clock that is ignoring my pleas

Is anyone listening to me?

I feel so alone right now

Both of us struggling in different ways

You are struggling to find air to reach your lungs

I am struggling to find the will to go on

We both need to promise that we will fight until the end

How will this end for the both of us?
