Weakness ...

2 Corinthians 12:9 

⁹ But He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.

Weakness and ?

Weakness and strength walk hand in hand.

Does one despise the other?

Weakness so often goes to any length

to hide itself or smother

Ideas exposed … as is,

cannot escape the feelings,

of guilt and inadequacy

as in purpose it is dealing

How to find a path to go

without in despair to crumble?

Well every one should know

as through life they stumble

If weakness is a part of you

was it placed there for a reason?

Could you be different in life's hue

if structured in a different season?

The bible says without restriction,

“when I'm weak … I'm strong”

Why … this living contradiction?

Do I know where I belong?

My strength is not my own I see,

for I am formed beyond me

For all that originates my plea

in weakness does enslave me

I like to be strong or do I really?

I don't think so deep inside

It so easy to live freely

for it does not  take a fight

So is there really contradiction

or does weak outweighs strong by far?

The strength of weakness in affliction

helps us to get by … way above par

Standards we seem to choose ourselves

Standards which … don't mean a thing

Seems like forcing Life on a shelf,

just out of reach ... Oh! what a sin

So to give up life must be easy

Die to the world and just move on

There is no value ... I'm just teasing,

for where is life … hope may be strong

Let Jesus soothe and heal the fractures

which you inflicted with beside

He'll move you out and manufactures

a new you with "Him" inside

Holy … Holy is my Savior.

Holy … Holy is my friend.

He will change my behavior.

He is committed to the end.
