Wealth-based Thought

No reflection in the mirror

Because society doesn’t see me

No confidence in my life

Due to boundaries in my community

No money at the bank

Cause I never get a raise

Only sorrow in my eyes

Because misery creates pain

I never got a choice

On the length of my education

So, here I am stuck working

Digging,  deeper into my depression

I watch those with wealth

And don’t feel any envy

Since I haven’t any hope

I can’t afford wasted energy
