Weary of War and Deception

Two

Always two

Just two sides

For you to choose

White or black

Red or blue

But the answer's harder still to use

It's the leaders

of the fray

who never fight

to save the day

Don't forget

they seek power

and very soon

you're left with flowers

Off to scatter

on the graves

of the friends you lost along the way

Don't

fight for good or bad

'cause there'll be nothing left to have

Chosen hero

hurry home

You're directionless

and all alone

Friends are just more things to take

Both sides bury you with hate

Charm'd weapon

Strike me true

So they'll bury me

With you
