Weathered the Storm

The rain is slamming against my skin like all the hurtful words people throw at the homeless. Sunny days come with aches and pain as the rays burn my skin. Its damaging like the alcoholics beverage in a guardians hand. The wind is cold and harsh like the sounds of innocent people dying. This weather we all face everyday. Its unwavering. Those natural disasters seek to steal away the hope we have saved. To weather the storm is like keeping your head above water while draining. Its hard. Its painful. But it is not impossible.
