Weave through Me
Shaking, I'm the needle of a compass
lost without direction,
I need to feel the winds force
pulling my heart,
ripping it to shreds
else I am nothing.
In the now, such yearning for the past,
cyclones fail to last
when they know we cannot weather.
Wielding my strength,
the strength of a tiny pin.
Icy wind weaves through my veins,
which means there is yet no one to blame,
and I'm stuck trying to run away(2x)
through the pitch black night and day.
The road is bending backwards
I'm falling into nothingness
with you weaving subtle
through my sleepy bones.
Why can't you just leave me alone?
Stuck in a frozen atmosphere
knowing that all we'll do is durably fear
well I'll tell you I'm not a part of that you hear?!
So keep trying to weave right on through me.
