weeds
sometimes i need love
sometimes i need a neatly rolled blunt
where the weed won't spill from the bottom
and the temporary peace of mind takes me from my problems
sometimes i need my mama
sometimes i need someone to whisper false promises
in my ear
make me feel that i am here and i am real
make me feel
something other than the drowsiness of benadryl
something other than general
touch me somewhere other than my genitals
give me more than a chmical reaction
am i still attractive beyond my flesh
beyond the fresh
be honest
beyond this
do you see me
