Weeds

A wise man once told me a hidden truth about true will.

For it isn't found between the words of a book.

Nor is it found at the edges of the world.

It inhabits the hilltops and lays admist the valleys.

For they never faulter from their goal.

They are weak but willing.

For their persistence will crack boulders and fracture concrete.

They are unwilling to compromise.

Criticise them,

Hate them,

Despise them,

Tear at the ground if you have to.

But, never deny them

For the motivation to push forward can be found in any location.

Maybe even in your own garden.
