Flavorless bubblegum, 

action-reaction pairs, 

constant velocity Tuesday.

Not-reading-history,

get out for blood-draw, please,

driving to church after Wednesday.

Mailing my letters out,

sleeping in practice rooms,

“Why’s it not Friday yet” Thursday.

Daydreaming slowly,

planning things faster,

finally leaving here Friday.

Sleeping in hopefully,

practicing choir things,

texting and missing you Saturday.

Nodding off guiltily,

sightreading sleepily, 

driving with windows down, 

dancing in parking lots,

leaning into your arm Sunday....

missing you Monday again.
