The Weight

It’s like you’re drowning, except you know how to swim. Is that possible? You don’t think it’s true until you’ve realized how long you’ve gone without air. Waves of emotions Leaving you to an abyss of an emptiness. Seeing everyone, just wishing to be like them, afloat and carefree. But when you’re drowning in a sea of your sorrows, it will take a toll. Things that brought you joy, are treaded water, slipping e’er more from your grasp. Trapped in an ocean, present only in your mind, but the pain is real. Can you escape it? and remember how to swim? be joyful again?
