weight of the water
herb smoke in the air, hopefully it'll release some emotional clots
use to chill with the goons who spent thier days playing with glocks and trying to make a dime off a plot
seems to me that the only thing that ever made the hood shine bright is mutiple bowls of some good pot
in and out peoples cars taking thier valuables to the nearest pawn shop,
while flash visions of my future show a headline "Another black male popped".
i would always hang with a gang with some niggas whos heads looked like mops.
eyes always gloss and middle fingers up to the cops.
too much love gets shown and it'll cause you to take a damn loss.
let snake slither up and i paid the damn cost.
took a mower to the grass now im a loner and some of my "niggas" are now the past.
in a better home and a better neighborhood where all i see is white faces.
dont get me wrong im thankful dont take that last line as racist.
always thought if i showed some the world will take me places.
i've only met a couple people but i've met many faces.
