The Weight of Words
People say that words carry weight
And we understand it's true
That words can be so heavy
Even when they're so few
It's their emotional pounds
That weigh you down
That make you afraid
To say what you want to say
Words define you
Remind you of who you are
Where you come from
And what you do
Who you interact with
And who you're relaxed with
But what if we were honest?
Didn't care who we're around
Unrefined
Redefined
I believe you can because
Words have weight,
But your strength is great
