Weights

The weights hold me down

I just pull them along

dont even glance at them

push them far from my mind

I don't talk about what happened

or how i feel towards them

or why they stayed

they mean to much

I will break down

so i just dont bring them up

dont think of them

push them far away

yet pull them with me evrey step of the way

they wont just go away

"A weight has been lifted from my shoulders,"

i wish i could say

My past stays and there is nothing i can do

It always brings me mixed emotions:

Fear, anger, hated, guilt, and shamefulness

all feelings i cant deal with

but they stay
