Weights Lifted

weights lifted... weights that kept me unfocused weights that kept me from love for so long weights too heavy to lift back then weights that kept the "ing" of off mend weights that kept me crying at night now the cryings stopped for I no longer have to fight Friends said I lost my mind My mama said its only a matter of time she knew i would be just fine atleast after i was completely done thinking of you missing you wishing dreaming, remeniscing all about you Realized long ago I didn't need you in my life weights lifted because I've realized why Slowly... Got it... Look up at my weights to find there meanings were forgotten Loves, charms, romances, slow moving dances Lost chances quick glances Realized it wasn't the prances my heart felt so deep but the fact that I didn't know why it ended so steep I took that leap found out much later its no so hard to lift weights the weights i carried so easily lifted i searched for my past, evaluated made sum compromises shut out demons my mind invaded the tastes of courage and strength had my insides salivatin weights lifted weights that are no longer heavy because im no longer a fool after years I feel like i've always wanted to all theses years now i know what to do all these days and now i know i can play all these months and now i can live another day but I'll be glad to inform my old ways of fools that i can not, will not lift another pound or ounce, that i'm brand new no more weights will be lifted for you
