A Weird Dream I Had

Dear Subconscious,

While riding in a tank with Leonardo Da Vinci strolling through his tall gothic mansion surrounded by chandeliers reflecting the sun, and revolving around the ceiling like we are floating in space ourselves, we entered through an eloquently revering painting which I figured was one of his previous works, but he actually argued I made it.

The painting itself was a pile of film cameras leaking out reels fixing a square road for us. His white beard grew plastered and dark as we entered the still frame, and my vision was transfixed on this twilight zone like background I made. So many layers of grey and black folded onto each other and to me, it was ugly and dull.

To Da Vinci however, he complimented the creativity of the nothingness whatever that meant. The only feeling that came to mind was confusion. Not of the circumstance, but why did I paint this boring picture? No colors, no context, no story to it. I hadn’t realized that Da Vinci was transforming into something.

A tunnel of colors spiraling up around him.

The colors being so vibrant like the colors of fire or the light spectrum. I was hypnotized and transforming too. The event lasting a few seconds. The dull background. The colors. All were mixed.

Da Vinci gone for some reason. Only for what felt like a second did I see what was before me. A normal movie set out in the desert covered by the morning sky. Dawn was filled with oils of purples and fire oranges and no clouds to back it up. A mesmerizing view yet the only thing worth watching was the glowing man surrounded by a spiraling mix of colors. Not Da Vinci, but me.

Thank you

This is a weird dream I had, and it somehow connects to my actual life goals so I thought I would write about it.
