Welcome to the Circus

Welcome to the circus
Where we choose to flaunt our flaws
Where the jeers aren't our motivation
They are our cause

Welcome to the freak show
Where we pretend the victims be
When it's really a cry for attention
Look at me! Look at me!

Welcome to the trapeze
Where we fly at the audience's beck and call
Pretend it's a life of ease
When we're really afraid to fall

Welcome to the show
Make haste in choosing an act
Because if you resort to be yourself
Who knows how the crowd will react
