Welcome Mat

Come in, enjoy your stay. Walk all over me,

I won’t utter a peep.

Violate me,

Place your foot straight into my gut,

sinking in, the rupture is cathartic.

Touch me;

let the elements rip apart

every fiber.

Yours to tread.

Yours even in death.

Never to stop servicing.
