Welcome To My Life

Hello

You don’t know me well because you can’t see me

But I’ve watched you grow up since you were little

From the moment you were born

Witnessing when you cried and laugh

Your success and your failures

I’ve been with you every step of the way

I’m you

Hello

It's me again

Yes I’m still here

Watching brag about your pre-teen years

Dreaming to get the boy and to be popular

Dreaming that you will become the star

Hiding the pain you really feel inside when you go home

Lying constantly just so no one has to see you cry

But yet again you still smile

We both smile

Hello

Well we have done it

We have reached “Mount Everest”

We have reached our peak   now we see it on paper

Yes you have struggled, cried, and buried your sorrow

Why don’t you ask for help

But you’ve grown

You’ve accomplished so much in 4 years

Now college is almost here

Mistakes are still made

We still have much to learn

Hello

Its time to grow and make new adventures

Ugh picking a dorm is such a pain

Talking about investing and credit cards are annoying

And yes you have to apply for jobs and more scholarships

Now you’re adult and you just want to go back

But you will be okay because I’m here

Because I grew with you

From the moment you were born

Witnessing when you cried and laugh

Your success and your failures

I’ve been with you every step of the way

Hello I’m you

Welcome to my life
