Welcome to the Streets
Welcome home
Welcome to the streets
Dead man’s reel
Hearts of iron and steel
No emotions or pain to feel
Numb from drugs
And mind-altering chemicals
Humans turn into heartless animals
A wise man turns into a fool
A good man becomes a criminal
There she stood on the corner of the road
Once a lady now disposed
Walking on needles and shattered dreams
The silent night vibrates into a sinner’s delight
A loaded gun filled with spite
Followed by agonizing screams praying for sunlight
A nightmare to remember, a shadow to fight
Once so innocent of heart, now turned dark
The Devil whispers
Welcome home
Welcome to the streets
