Well, Aren’t You Something?

You hate me for my grander And I I hate me for my modesty. I never once led you to believe I could brag and boast. Why would I? I knew the truth That behind my brash, crooked smile Was a whimpering coward afraid of her greatness. I can’t dim my eye catching qualities. Even though As your nose touches the sky when I pass you I wish I could Because I wish you didn’t hate me for my grander And I I shouldn’t be hated for my modesty.
