The Well Maiden

She walked upon a lily’s disc, she had her legs a quiver,

then spin and down the maiden fall, into thine darkest river.

Her father sent her far from home, the bottle paternal comfort,

and so she wandered her eyes then set, upon the lushest desert.

A fellow once had left her side, tri sister slept under earth,

no better day had maiden had, then moment of her birth

So then she come upon a well, whose bottom had known no end,

and there she liy until this day, no help has still to send.
