Were

Words: each preserving their own meaning
Speaking and explaining trying to show them what I'm feeling
Scared
unaware how much they care
To tell them how I feel I would never dare, to
If my mouth were to move i could only gasp for air, true

So I'm lost in blank stairs
Sitting always thinking never knowing how to share
Oh what I would give to give my heart to them bare
Naked and unclothed
Exposed
Without necessity or want to cover up

But I could never, my words were not enough.
