We're As Broke As the System

The system's broke

And who's to fix it?

Certainly not the money-grubbing hands

Of politicians or even

Those who promise education

for our hard-earned dollars.

We work, we sleep, we learn

We work we sleep we learn

Weworkwesleepwelearn

Nothing slows down for a second

As the world spins by.

We're left behind in a flash

Because we're buried

Under

A mountain of student loans.

We struggle to get ahead

As we fall further behind,

Money trickling

From our pockets

All

The

Way.

The system's broke

And who's to fix it?

The students who stand up

To make a change,

And those who question

"Why must this cost

SO MUCH?"
