we're different

We're all different.

the lives we live,

the love we share,

the way we live.

those who come from afar,

believe they can find success,

some do find it,

but hardly do the rest.

we were born a nation of immigrants they say,

funny how much irony is in those words.

why dont we go back? look how badly they treat us.

but we stay for our children

so that in their lives they have enough.

so thats how the story goes,

atleast in this aspect anyways

we struggle and fight so that we can live another day
