We're myth

Spinning and spinning, all see the world with chaos, none understand.

Glorified deeds and boons are rewarded to help understand.

Written and spoken, their stories hold together the air and sky.

What is told varies waivering nonetheless from it’s meaning.

Gods whom existed before our matter, create tales and fantasies without knowledge.

Chants or rituals offer to be blessed.

We praise, reject, and curse those who’ve been imagined.

We now revel in what remains, only to debate and inspire.

Creatures whom we fight, seen beyond our scope.

Conflict is caused or resolved by their actions.

Nature is bonded with those who control, effect, or are disasters.

Some even plague what would paradise, with a dystopian fate.

Not all have great might to ruin islands, not all hate being a keeper.

There are those who have given lived and died in many cycles, who’ve given and taken from and to man.

Disguised or not, beings who have no pure divine connection weave tales, and whom are woven from tales to teach.

Deities who travel, who long akin to their creations.

Their flaws from their creators passed down from generations for, and to come.

Wisdom from us, to us.

We can embody who they are and were.

Creations from the unknown to be unknown.

We may appear to no longer need tales with information at our tips, though this couldn’t be further from truth.

The people we idealize, the view of truth being lies, they lay within a new branch.

We still write legends and myth with an unconscious mind.

They will never truly be gone from nature of man.
