We're Sorry

The ocean 

The ozone layer 

The ice-caps 

All slowly dying 

Mankind have shot Earth in the leg 

As the next generation endure the pain 

We say sorry 

We’re sorry that even with all the protests, programs and people trying 

Nothing really changed 

No one in high power, drew the line and said NO 

No to unnecessary plastic 

No to fossil fuels 

No to deforestation 

We’re sorry 

That there might not be enough time to change it 

We’re sorry 

That your life will be filled with worries wondering how much longer Earth can hold on 

And most of all we’re sorry 

That you might not get to live life to the fullest
