werewolf (8/18/20)

no lycanthrope, no

this is something that

only happens at night.

no earth, either

somewhere else

where full moons

bare mongrel stitches every

twenty four hours

strict schedules to keep

long hair to let breathe

no screams

we kill in silence

we mash jaws with silver paws

letting lives go that

no one in the village knows of.

no dogs here

no puppy dog tails

only sugar, spice

every vice

allotted every night

swift, quick

every shifty

fiend forgotten when

dawn comes.
